Bathroom Remodel

So, we tackled a bathroom remodeling project one Saturday afternoon (4pm) when I was irritated we had gotten nothing done again on our only "workday off". Dave's suggestion, "let's go tear up the bathroom", I happily agreed. The bathroom that was supposed to take two weekends to complete ended up taking months, of course! What project in our life actually takes two weekends? Notice the lovely carpet on the bathroom floor well, that went up the bathtub wall as well. I also loved (not) the original cabinets that we refinished from the beige paint to a warm pine color. Notice the build-ups Dave made for all the doors and windows, as for the rest well it speaks for itself. In the end it was all worth it when you see Dave's amazing work. As you can see from the pictures he had plenty of help:) If any of you did not know Dave as a child... Take a look at the pic's there he is, except this time his name is Diesel.

Wow. Amazing work. I have always been amazed at Dave's skills in everything. It reminds me of our kitchen, and roof and laundry room and, and and etc.

It was way fun to see Diesel. I agree about his being a reflection of Dave (I don't know if we can handle two of them - are there enough projects to go around? Know the Koch's, Pope's, Rollins, Dowdles, Mathews, Maxfields, should be no problem there).

Thanks for the blog. Where is Duke?

Love Dad
